CONQUEZ LightHouse programs are off-campus hybrid, delivered through state-of-the-art virtual classroom and digital learning mechanisms in synchronous (real-time) or asynchronous (recorded, offline) modes.
CONQUEZ collaborates intensively with select global institutions in North America, Europe, Australia, New-Zealand and APAC under its LightHouse initiative to co-create highly specialized programs that can be affordably and conveniently taken by students living away in other parts of the world.
Why CONQUEZ Lighthouse
Lighthouse programs are delivered away from global universities, but are exact mirrors of their actual on-campus programs. Even the degrees, credentials and qualifications awarded to Lighthouse registrants are exactly the same as those awarded by partner universities to their regular, on-campus students.
The essence is extreme convenience and affordability, without any compromise on learning or qualification. That’s how we enable students and vocational learners breach the barriers of geography and time zones to access the best of learning opportunities and programs of the best of global institutions.
Another great advantage of Lighthouse is being able to learn what students really desire to, despite not being a regular on-campus student. Many of the LightHouse programs in a select group of majors can be custom designed for students of institutions or employees of organizations with unique learning and education needs.

Niwantha Pareira from Candy, Sri Lanka was trying to resurrect his life after losing his father a few months before his Level A exams in late 2016. None of the universities he had eyed in the island country were unable to offer him admission in an undergraduate program in business or accounting. Only two private universities had something of his liking, but they were too far, expensive and he did not want to leave his mom. Through a CONQUEZ network associate, he connected with us.
There were at least two dozen other young high-schoolers in Sri Lanka, we were trying to do something about, but our consultants would often hit a communication roadblock with them. When Niwantha entered the picture, our team decided to request Niwantha to lead the task of coordination with these other students. In about a couple of week’s time, we had managed to create a Lighthouse program for 15 students – including Niwantha. This program would be run from six cities in Sri Lanka, powered by the University of Lancaster, United Kingdom. This bunch of 15 young Sri Lankans boarded the 4-year undergrad degree program in August 2017 – the Lancaster Class of 2021 – with 8 of them majoring in Economics; and the others, including Niwantha, picking up Accounting & Business as their major. All students stay at home with their parents; pay just about a quarter of the regular international student fee charged by Lancaster University, and of course, study exactly the same courses, and from the same professors as regular students do in the Lancaster campus in UK.
